QUESTION:   How long does it take to complete an assessment?

Answer:  The initial assessment takes 2.5 hours to complete. The nutritional evaluation is one hour.  Should a physical fitness assessment be needed, an additional hour.  The final hour is spent reviewing your brain health plan and attending your first coaching session.

 

QUESTION:  Do you check my memory?

Answer:  Yes. We identify your strengths and weaknesses when processing information.  We then use this information to customize the best brain stimulation program.  We also have available a neuropsychologist who can do a more extensive assessment when necessary.

 

Question:  What is the cost?

Answer:  Our services are covered by Medicare and third party payers.  Please contact our office for additional private pay options.

 

Question:  What insurances do you accept?

Answer:  We accept the following insurances:

  • BCBS – No HMO, Out-of-Network with all other plans
  • Humana - No HMO, Out-of-Network with all other plans
  • UHC - No HMO, Out-of-Network with all other plans
  • Aetna - No HMO, Out-of-Network with all other plans
  • Cigna - No HMO, Out-of-Network with all other plans
  • Tricare – Standard accepted, Cannot accept Prime
  • Golden Rule – No HMO, Out-of-Network with all other plans

Question:  Do I need a doctor’s order?

Answer:   No.  We are a Neurology practice exclusively specializing in brain health

 

Question:  Will I see the neurologist?

Answer:  The results of your assessments and screenings will determine the need for a visit with a neurologist. 

Our nurse practitioner is specially trained in Cognitive Neurology and Brain Health. She will provide your initial assessment and recommendations for your brain health plan

 

Question:  Do you provide  diagnostic assessments?

Answer:  Yes.  Clients will go thru the same assessment process.  We then schedule a neurology consult.
